And finally, after all the wait, we finally got the news on searching up Alia Bhatt Instagram in the last week of March, where she announced that the film schedule had been finally wrapped up.
She took to her Instagram and shared a Behind the Scenes picture from the shoot of the film, along with a picture of her, Ranbir and Ayan from when they visited Kashi Vishwanath Temple: "We started shooting in 2018. And now, finally, The filming of Brahmastra ( Part One ) comes to an end! I've been wanting to say this for such a long time... IT'S A WRAP! The Big Day- Wedding, Mehendi, Afterparty
Definitely one of the biggest milestones of Alia's personal journey was her wedding to long-time boyfriend and co-star Ranbir Kapoor. The most anticipated wedding of 2022 took place after months of rumours and speculation, and it was nothing short of magical. The couple tied the knot on the 14th of April, on the balcony of their Bandra home Vaastu in a close-knit and tranquil ceremony. Everything was perfectly coordinated from the matching gold and ivory ensembles to the floral decor, and friends and family were all smiles as the two tied the knot.

The couple looked beautiful in matching pink outfits for the Mehndi ceremony and Alia's personalised lengha had multi-colours floral embroidery that looked gorgeous! Another big milestone for Alia came up, was her pregnancy announcement! Congratulations were in order for the couple as the actress took to social media to announce their pregnancy with a candid picture of her and Ranbir from the hospital. In the picture, they can be seen sharing a cute moment, as they watch the ultrasound screen. The announcement took the internet by storm, and the love that was showered on them was overwhelming. The picture captioned "Our baby, coming soon." saw Alia looking at the monitor with the biggest smile and we can already tell that she is going to be a great mom.
Darlings Promotions
With big things happening in Alia's personal life, her professional life was at an all-time high too. The actress made her OTT platform debut with her movie Darlings, and her promotional looks had her experimenting. August was the month of Brahmastra promotions for the actress. With the film slated to release in the first week of September, the entire team was leaving no stone unturned when it came to promotions and preparations and Alia too was going all out. Her post from the Deva Deva song launch had her sporting a contemporary brown dress, that scored high on grace and comfort. She posted it with the title, "All set to see Deva Deva with the press, and my little darling."
The mom-to-be also left no occasion to challenge stereotypical notions when it came to maternity wear, and truly showed us a whole range of quirky outfits. Alia Bhatt's cheeky rani pink gharara set with the flashy message at the back reading "baby on board" was just the cherry on top that we needed.
Baby Shower
The latest update in the actress's life has been from her beautiful baby shower celebration. The celebration that was held in their residence, saw members from both the Bhatt and Kapoor family, along with all of Alia's closest friends.
The actress looked beautiful as ever, in a yellow kurta set, smiling and laughing as she was surrounded by her loved ones. She took to her Instagram to share some candid moments from the ceremony, and captioned it "just love."
Alia Bhatt this year has proved that she has it all. Big-ticket releases, the love of fans, the respect of critics and the appreciation of every sought-after director in her industry. Moreover, she has also made strides in her personal life and is a wonderful daughter, wife and soon-to-be mother.
