About Filmfare OTT Awards 2022
The Filmfare Awards initially started off as an entity that honoured excellence in Hindi cinema. Following that, we included South cinema, followed by Marathi, Bengali, and even Punjabi cinemas. Two years ago, we started the OTT Awards and the industry warmly welcomed the move and has been with us every step of the way. The response to the property has been fabulous, what with both the creators and viewers giving it a big thumbs up. Last year, some of the big winners were Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story, Gullak Season 2, and The Family Man 2, while Samantha, Pratik Gandhi, Geetanjali Kulkarni, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui proved to be the top winners in the acting field. This year we’re merging our Short Film Awards with the OTT Awards, bringing a gamut of possibilities to the property. We’re sure this year the event will reach higher heights and turn into an even bigger bonanza.
