Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt collaborated for the very first time in Gauri Shinde’s Dear Zindagi. The film not only managed to impress critics but also went on to have a decent run at the box-office. If rumours are to be believed, then the two will soon be joining hands yet again for a project however, this time SRK is on board as producer.
Talking about the project, the film is titled Darlings and is a quirky mother-daughter story. Darlings marks the directorial debut of Jasmeet K Reen, who has previously worked as an Associate Director and Chief Assistant director on films like Force 2, Fanney Khan, and Pati Patni Aur Woh. A leading daily also got in touch with a source close to the project who revealed that Alia Bhatt was instantly on board for the project after a narration. The source stated, “She loved it and instantly came on board the film.”
Rumours suggest that we might expect an official announcement for the project in the coming week.
