In an interview with Jitesh Pillaai, the editor of Filmfare for Whatappp Presents Just Between Us by Filmfare, a chat show where stars pour out their souls, Radhik Apte talks at length about her association with Netflix. Says she, "I've never cared for the platform. If I like a project, I do it and I don't care how it's going to release. At that time, Netflix was so popular even before it launched in India. So why would I not want to be part of something that was on Netflix?! But a lot of actors, at that time, were reluctant to be on an OTT platform. Sacred Games happened, then Ghoul was a film that became a series after it was sold to Netflix. Lust Stories happened These three were the first major releases of Netflix. Radflix happened after that. It was strange but also fun. I have more films that have released in theatre than on OTT but you know, how associations form. They don't have any statistical backing."

Netflix, one of the world's largest streaming platforms, admitted that they were a Radhika Apte fan page. She says that every actor needs to be commercially viable. And that she has also succumbed to that thought process. She says candidly, "Certain things I do for my agents and certain things I do for myself. You've got to make money because this business requires you to spend a lot! Sometimes, you do projects for the money and sometimes because they are shooting in great places. Sometimes you do it because you like the actor or the director even if you don't really like the script. Sometimes you do it because you want to work with a production house. So there are various reasons and I don't shy away from either."
Controversies are always nipping at an actor's heels. And Radhika is no different. She speaks about the time when a nasty controversy broke out. She was scared about her family's reaction to it. But imagine her surprise when her parents supported her wholeheartedly. They didn't question her and rallied around her. The actress is grateful for her awesome support system. She says this and more on the show. Watch it now.
