Having found fame with Black Friday, he's gone to deliver masterful performances in movies like Gangs of Wasseypur, Raman Raghav 2.0, The Lunchbox and Manto. He also took over the OTT space with the show, Sacred Games , which revolutionised how OTT is seen in India.
"I was in many films but I was never a big part of the hoarding but that changed with Gangs of Wasseypur. Of course, I loved it. My daughter was two years old then and she recognised me on that hoarding. The hoarding got taken down after a few days because the film's activites were over. And my daughter would keep looking at that place and wonder ki why her father's face is there no more. Usko toh mai tab samjha nahi pata," he says with a smile. Today he's the poster boy of OTT.
