Remember when you would wear a cool slogan t-shirt and convey a message every time you walked out? With masks fast becoming a mandate, we now have a bolder and more in-your-face way of doing it.
What started as a necessity has now transformed itself into a fashion accessory. The first step towards customisation of face masks was matching it with your outfit and now we are putting slogans on them that are quite witty. From sassy remarks on social distancing to simple messages about the pandemic, we’ve seen masks become a writing board for many designers and our celebrities love to flaunt these with their outfits.
We’ve seen Deepika Padukone do it with a mask that said, “It’s all in the eyes,” and Karan Johar gave a message with a mask that read, “If you’re reading this you’re too close.”
