Avatar: The Way of Water, the highly-anticipated sequel to Avatar (2009) is set to release next month. The film has made headlines for its ambitious scale and now, it looks like it has Guillermo del Toro's stamp of approval.

Oscar-winning director Guillermo del Toro has watched Avatar 2 and he's impressed. He took to Instagram to share what looks like the first reaction to the film. Responding to producer Jon Landau's announcement about the completion of the film's final mix and picture mastering, the director Tweeted, "A staggering achievement- AVATAR TWOW is chock full of majestic Vistas and emotions at an epic, epic scale. A master at the peak of his powers…"
