Here's the complete winners list of Filmfare Awards Marathi 2017:
True love always undergoes trial by fire and Sairat is another film that brings home the point. The film is also a critique on the caste divide that’s very much still prevalent in India. It’s also an eye-opener about the blight of honour killings in today’s social milieu. Winner
Love stories are the staple of Indian films and it’s hard to serve something original to the audience. Nagraj Manjule brought in a social message against class divide as well as honour killing in his film. The fresh pairing too made it a winner. Winner
Playing Bhagwan Dada from the ’40s and ’50s needed to have exaggerated expressions and mannerisms. But there’s a fine line between going over-the-top and being extra dramatic and Mangesh Desai walked that tight rope with élan. Winner
Looking at her, one can never believe that it’s her debut film as an actor. She’s so good that you just can’t take your eyes off her. She brings out all the shades of her character with a natural ease, making acting look easy. Let’s hope this is just the beginning of greater things to come. Winner
Vikram Gokhale is an actor of calibre and more often then not is known for his confrontation scenes with other actors. He holds his own with Nana Patekar in the present film and their scenes together are a delight to watch. It's like watching two seasoned actors delivering an acting masterclass. Winner
The film revolves around a dysfunctional family and Sai played the daughter who has somehow become estranged from her parents but does want reconciliation. Winner
Ajay-Atul’s tracks created a major stir in Marathi cinema. Sairat would not have been the phenomenon that it became without the musical contributions of this duo. Whether it was Zingaat or Yad laglay their songs have set a new benchmark for Marathi film music. Winner
Ajay-Atul were a one man army on Sairat's musical journey. Their creative control ensured the tracks weren't just world class but their Marathi roots ensured the lyrics were relatable and poetic. Yad lagalay was sublime in its depictions on love. Winner
The first flush of love is ably brought out in Ajay’s silk smooth voice. The song makes you remember your first love again. Winner
Chinmayi is one of the most versatile singers in the country right now. That Ajay-Atul chose her for singing Sarah zaala hi was a masterstroke. Her melodious voice had a new spunk in this Marathi track. Winner
