Amit Sadh played a dogged policeman who is haunted by his own demons at one hand and is handed an almost impossible case on the other. Amidst all this, he never loses his humanity and manages to get into the bottom of the mystery.
Best Actor In A Supporting Role, Series (Female) : Drama
She played a highly suspenseful character in the series. She was also someone who shows that half the problems of the world can be solved if your heart was in the right place.
Raghubir Yadav played the 'Pradhan Pati' or the husband of the Sarpanch. He has usurped his wife's place and has been administering the village but towards the end realises his mistake and is shown to be in agreement towards a change.
Despite being the Pradhan of the village, Neena Gupta's character is shown to have a secondary place. Later, circumstances prove that she's equal to the post and might take up the post actively in the second season.

The concept of the show was to get Indian Music Directors together and paired to recreate each other's songs, with due credit and acknowledgement. Its unique concept and treatment won it plaudits from both fans and critics.

Best Screenplay
The series had a multi-layered screenplay. Through small but effective punches, it showed us the corruption both at the micro as well as the macro-level and how as a society we have become fine with such things.
He's the chalk to his partner's cheese but somehow, despite being opposites, the couple make it through several ups and downs and that's the beauty of the show.

Manoj Bajpayee played an operative who was somewhat of a henpecked husband at one layer but is a true patriot and a lionheart on the other. He was an odd choice for an actioner but pulled off the role effectively.
Sumukhi Suresh (Pushpavalli Season 2) - Amazon Prime Video
Best Actor, Series (Female), Critics: Comedy
In Season 2 viewers can't decide whether Pushpavalli is a victim or a manipulator. It even feels as if she herself has been fooled by her own con. Her mercurial expressions never fail to garner in the laughs.
Priyamani played the perfect homemaker who gets tired of domestic bliss and wants to be more adventurous both professionally and personally. It was a multi-layered character full of many surprises.
Praveen Kathikuloth (Special OPS) - Disney Hotstar
Best Editor, Series
The slick action and the back and forth narration wouldn't have been possible if the editing was faulty. Commendable cutting by Praveen really elevated the series and left the viewers asking for more.
The OST brought out the nuances of the changing taste in popular music over a period of twenty-odd years and added to the overall appeal of the series.

Voting can be done online on filmfare.com and various other platforms, as may be determined by WWM, for the categories more particularly detailed therein.
Any votes registered after the voting dates will not be counted and considered. The voting period may be subject to change.
