Saif Ali Khan’s Sacred Games may have four seasons

Saif Ali Khan has had a busy year with his films and web series releasing one after the other. The Chef actor is now all set to star in Netflix’s upcoming original series titled Sacred Games, based on the similarly titled best-selling novel by Indian author Vikram Chandra. 

In the show, Saif will be seen playing the role of Sartaj Singh. The show revolves around the intricate web of organized crime, corruption, politics and espionage that lie beneath India’s economic renaissance. As per a report in a leading daily, the series might have four seasons to it. A source close further revealed, “The series is based on the novel. But the plot has been developed to suit the visual medium. The makers are now looking at locking in four seasons.”

It’s also said that the first eight episodes for season one are currently being shot in Mumbai.  The source further added, “It will take time to establish these new characters as well as sub-plots.
