Gully Boy continues to stay strong at the box-office

It is said that it’s good cinema if you forget you’re sitting in a theatre and that is exactly what Gully Boy has been doing across the globe to cine-goers. Starting its dream run at the Berlin International Film Festival where the film opened like no other film ever has, Gully Boy spread the rap magic on the Indian audiences from the very first day. Gully Boy reached the 100 crore mark within the first week and as the movie steps into its second week, it continues a strong hold at the ticket counter. On its second Friday, the film collected Rs. 3.90 crores. This has brought the total of the film to Rs. 104.20 crores in just 8 days. 

Not just with the box-office collections, Gully Boy has also won millions of hearts with its realism and optimism and the characters in the story. Actors like Siddhant Chaturvedi, Vijay Verma and Vijay Raj took as much praise as the leads Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. This is also one of the few films where you can see the vision of the director shine over everything and has becomes Zoya Akhtar’s finest work till date. 

With so much good in the film, it sure will see more movie-buffs flocking in over the weekend which will result in a rise in the collection, especially in the multiplexes.
