Nominations for 67thWolf777news Filmfare Awards 2022 - Best Story
Best Story - Abhishek Kapoor, Supratik Sen And Tushar Paranjape
We've been brought up to believe in certain set norms about gender, about sexuality. We’ve been conditioned to shun what’s not normal. It's only recently that the boundaries of what normal is are blurring and people have started questioning set beliefs. The film is a conversation starter of sorts that opens your eyes towards gender fluidity.
Best Story - Dibakar Banerjee And Varun Grover
It’s a thriller with a social conscience. Dark, convoluted and layered, Dibaker Banerjee and Varun Grover people the film with grey-shaded characters, they include several twists in, their evolution of the plot and the climax takes your breath away.
Best Story - Kanika Dhillon
We’re used to seeing black and white characters. But here’s a film which offers a glimpse of how real men and women behave. The characters in the film let go of all pretences towards nicety and behave in their most raw manner towards each other. Their true nature comes to the fore when the masks are dropped and it’s not a pleasant thing to witness
Best Story - Nandha Periyasamy
The film’s story takes a stand that sports committees, instead of going on a witch hunt against their own athletes, should adopt a more humanitarian approach to such cases. Branding a woman as a man is bound to hurt her mental wellbeing. The film should be lauded for clearly stating that such tests are totally unfair to female athletes and should be repealed.
Best Story - Seema Pahwa
The film offers a hilarious take on the manners and mores of a dysfunctional middle class family dealing with the loss of its patriarch. Though it's broadly a comedy, it still manages to get you emotional as well through its realistic portrayal of relationships. Kudos to Seema Pahwa for getting most things right while writing her directorial debut.
