Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Raam Leela turns Shakespeare’s most famous play into a wild, high octane crime romance. Bhansali’s cinema is grandiose and absolutely magical. This was certainly his most uninhibited film with raw sexual energy and explosive chemistry between the two co-stars Ram (Ranveer Singh) and Leela (Deepika Padukone) which made them an instant favorite with the audiences. Ranveer and Deepika had burned the screen down with their presence in exquisitely designed ethnic costumes.  It was also on the sets of Ram Leela that the couple’s love blossomed.

The movie is about Ram and Leela, their love, lust, and we’re treated with some drama in the later half. Here’s presenting 7 best scenes from the film Raam Leela that shows the polished talent and sizzling chemistry between the two finest actors of our country.

1.This is the first encounter of Ram and Leela in the film. During the festival of Holi, Ram sneaks in the Sanera Mansion and instantly falls in love with Leela, daughter of Sanera matriarch Dhankor. 3.Ram has fallen head over heels for Leela and goes to meet her at her house. Ram Leela is a love story that is enthralling and sparkling and that was evident in every scene just like this one.

4. The Sanera and Rajadi clans of Gujarat have been living as sworn enemies for 500 years, killing each other’s members on the slightest pretext. Ram and Leela get romantically involved and plan to elope but a grim turn of events follows when Kanji (Sharad Kelkar) accidentally kills Meghji (Abhimanyu Singh) and is in turn killed by Ram. The intensity of the scene from the movie tells it all.

5. Leela unable to forget Ram refuses to marry the boy chosen by her mother Dhankor Baa (Supriya Pathak) and is not willing to get engaged. Dhankor Baa gets angry and tries to remove the ring from her finger using a chopper used for chopping beetle nuts. Well, we’re sure that this scene had given everyone a mini heart attack when they saw it.

6.Ram, played by Ranveer, and Leela, portrayed by Deepika, become the chief of their respective clans. There is an exchange of compelling dialogues between the duo in the film when they meet each other and the pain of their separation is portrayed in the scene.

7.       The last scene where Ram and Leela decide to die at the hands of each other than to be killed by their families and they eventually kill each other was so emotional and we could just feel the pain, the protagonists were going through. The intensity in their eyes and the last moment that they shared couldn’t be described in words. They create magic on screen.
